This fall, our curriculum focus' on how we see our land,
resources, and ourselves. Kids will use a wide variety of
mediums to explore what they see and learn!

This workshop is designed for adult learners only. 

Every participant will complete two encaustic pieces on birch panels.  All materials will be provided. During the class, we will discuss the many options for getting started with encaustics and very important best practices.  Youll learn how to prepare birch panels for painting, fuse layers, inlay other materials, carve the wax and use pigment sticks.  While experienced encuastic artists are welcome, you do not need any experience for this workshop!
