The Bigfork Art and Cultural Center occupies a historic building in the heart of downtown Bigfork, serving as one of the only public gathering places for arts, culture, and Bigfork history education in our rural, unincorporated community.

2025 Year in Review

  • Over 4,000 visitors passed through our doors in 2025
  • 1,200+ hours of youth programming serving 640 children in hands on creative learning
  • 1,600 hours of adult workshops and gatherings reaching 960 participants
  • 72 artists served through exhibitions, workshops, and studio opportunities
  • 100+ workshops hosted across youth, adult, and intergenerational programs
  • Partnerships with three local schools and one college
  • Collaborations with seven Flathead Valley nonprofits
  • 17 non-board volunteers contributed 2,080 service hours
  • Additional 160 volunteer hours dedicated to Makerspace & Art Gallery / Museum renovation
  • Year round programming included rotating exhibitions, Creative Roots homeschool arts, after school art and tech labs, 3D printing and CAD, Bigfork High School Youth Art Exhibit, adult watercolor and ceramics, fiber arts, creative aging classes, lecture series, and early development of the Flathead Maritime Archaeology Project digital museum archive…Makerspace access, leadership gatherings, volunteer training, and community events offered throughout the year
  • Low and no cost access prioritized for youth and underserved families

Bigfork Art / Cultural Center

We are an creative and educational hub in Bigfork that inspires people of all ages through a wide variety of workshops, lectures, and learning opportunities. BACC shares cultures through art and story stewardship. This is BACC’s way of bridging the connection between our past and the future we wish for our children, ourselves, and our world. As determined by the Internal Revenue Service Code, Bigfork Art and Cultural Center is a 501(c)3 organization, exempt from federal income tax.
