“There’s No Place Like Gnome”

“There’s No Place Like Gnome” — Gnome houses, fairy villages and tiny magical worlds.  Have fun with this one! Fee free to recreate Bigfork or your favorite Flathead destination in whimsicale fashion!

Schedule: 

Launch workshop: November 1st: 2-4pm

Designs due:  Friday Nov 27th noon- 5pm.

Design opening reception & voting starts: Saturday Nov 28th  4-6pm

Voting: Nov 28th - Dec 4th.

Action / reception: Dec 4th 7- 9 pm

Entry Guidelines:

• Your entire display must be made of edible materials (gingerbread, candy, icing, pretzels, cereals, etc.).
• No non-edible supports or decorations are allowed, except for lighting inside the structure — battery-operated or LED lights are permitted.
• All designs should reflect the — “There’s No Place Like Gnome” theme— gnome houses, fairy villages and tiny magical worlds.  or...turn Bigfork into a gnome or fairy village!
• Entries must be constructed in advance and ready for display at check-in.
• Size limit: please keep your display within 24” x 24” base dimensions (or adjust as needed).
• Judging will be based on creativity, craftsmanship, theme interpretation, and overall presentation.
• Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! $300 $200 $100 respectively.
